"...superb: very energetic and lively and yet so subtle and thoughtful in bringing out the singing quality of the repertoire"
- Dr. Rolf Goebel (University of Alabama)

Tim Hinck - composer, pianist, organ/harpsichordist, and former Fulbright Scholar. He currently writes music and works at the Cadek Conservatory of the University of Tennessee (Chattanooga).

The worlds of very old music are closer than you might think ... you Every musician is involved in some way with new music. I am interested in moving beyond merely interpreting old music in a new way, I want to create something totally new. To me the most exciting music is spontaneous and improvisatory. As musicians, we are discovering that classical music from 300 and 400 years ago was extremely free and lively. Music-making during this age was an organic and exciting experience, and that is the way that I enjoy performing these old pieces. This same way of music-making is also particular to contemporary music. I find the greatest pleasure in writing completely new music that sounds spontaneous but is also very emotionally communicative. Download my full cv/resume Publicity Photos:
